Met with Ron Dahl, my third boss who runs the show over at the Chelan Ranger Station. Trail is fine so far, muddy area at Upper Eagle Trail junction, where we dug drainage 2 weeks ago, seems to be drying out fine. From the looks of the mountains, the snow is melting out quickly, not much around at all. Hoodoo Pass may be another story, I will check it out in the AM tomorrow. First 5 day solo trip. Forgot my cell phone, no calling Jackie or parents from Horsehead Pass, bummer, but probably for the better, I suppose. Mosquitoes are nowhere near as bad as Blue Creek, wonder how Greg is faring out in the Entiat area…
